Hotel Montetaxco

Excellent place to spend a family or romantic weekend. This time i came with my family and it was great. The restaurant has a buffet for breakfast and dinner. For lunch the snack bar is enough. All personnel have a great attitude and make your time magical. If you can come do not hesitate.

Beautiful hilltop resort with breathtaking views of Taxco. Montetaxco Hotel & Resort feels peaceful and scenic, especially thanks to its panoramic terraces and spacious grounds. The setting is perfect for relaxing away from the busy town center. Getting up and down the hill usually requires a taxi or car, but the views more than make up for it.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel and would recommend it to those looking for a peaceful retreat. The hotel is located outside the main city center, making it wonderfully quiet and ideal for relaxation. One of the highlights was the great view—you can truly enjoy the serene surroundings. The pool was a nice feature, with relatively warm water that made swimming enjoyable, even in cooler weather. The hotel’s restaurant was also impressive, serving delicious food that added to the overall experience. For getting to the city center, you can use the telecabin (teleférico), which is a fun and scenic way to travel. However, it’s not included in the hotel’s services and costs 120 pesos for a round trip, so it’s something to keep in mind when budgeting. The only real downside is that there’s no internet in the rooms, which could be inconvenient for some. However, if you’re looking to disconnect and relax, this might not be a problem at all. Overall, it’s a lovely choice if you value tranquility, good food, and a comfortable stay with scenic views.

I will not lie, rooms need to be updated. But overall all… amazing hotel. With great staff and views.

Very nice stay for a rested vacation with everything you need in the hotel. From great food to shopping options of silver jewelry. The views from any spot in the hotel at incredible. You can’t miss this! Go and enjoy Mexico. Very safe and the best service. They also have a “ teleférico “ cable car to take you to downtown Taxco.

Holy moly the view is incredible: from the room balconies, the pool area and the restaurant - which also hosts live dance and music. Cable car view could be better but is great nonetheless. Rooms were fine. Breakfast and dinner buffets were fine - I'll be honest I've yet to be amazed by the food at hotel buffets - but I wasn't disappointed. There's a silver shop which isn't expensive but of course you can find cheaper in the city. Shower quality was good but the shampoo and shower gel sucked (as per usual in a hotel). I will absolutely come back this is one of my favourite hotels purely for the view alone

This hotel is very nice in its facilities. The service that workers, including girls in the hall,is very pleasant and kind. Highly recommended for someone who wants to enjoy a good time and an excellent meal. Thank you for making my vacation memorable.

Taxco is a BEAUTIFUL city and the hotel has awesome views of the entire city. The hotel is amazing too. It has all the amenities to keep a family happy. The buffet breakfast on Sunday was extensive and quite delicious. The staff was polite, helpful, and nice. They have a locally famous aerial cable car to go up and down the mountain. It's beautifully decorated. You can shop for silver at the stores there. Clothing too. I would recommend staying there.
